What can I do?
When most people come out to volunteer, "What can I do?" is usually one of the first things that they ask. It's a good question. It's a fair question. In the hustle and bustle of the night's events, where the opportunities to serve exist may not always seem clear. While we can always use extra help passing out food or donations, we believe that a better question to ask is, "What have you been uniquely gifted to do?"
Romans 12:6-8 says...
"We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully."
